Engineered From the Ground Up

Our custom full chassis systems are complete rolling platforms engineered for classic 4x4 restomod and pro touring builds. Every component is designed, fabricated, and assembled in our Ponderay, Idaho shop using American-sourced HREW steel and DOM tubing — the same materials used in professional off-road racing chassis.

Each rolling chassis is built to your specifications — tailored to your truck platform, drivetrain choice, and intended use. Whether you're building a show truck, trail rig, pro touring daily driver, or a competition-ready off-road machine, we engineer the foundation to perform. Start with an LS-based engine package and effortlessly switch to a Cummins diesel later — the modular architecture supports it all without re-engineering the frame.

Unlike Mustang II swap kits that bolt IFS to your existing frame, a Patriot Chassis is a complete replacement frame engineered as a unified system. The geometry, structural integrity, and component integration are designed together — not adapted from parts originally made for a different vehicle.

Independent Front Suspension

Our IFS delivers 16 inches of usable wheel travel through an Ultra4-inspired uni-ball design built for unmatched performance and durability. The geometry is proven in desert racing and adapted for the demands of classic truck builds.

The independent design allows each wheel to respond to terrain independently, delivering a smoother ride on-road while maintaining extreme articulation off-road. No problems handling 35" or 37" tires.

Triangulated 4-Link Rear

The full triangulated 4-link rear delivers 15 inches of travel using race-proven geometry. Equal-length upper and lower links minimize roll steer, keeping the rear axle tracking straight through articulation and inspiring driver confidence at any speed.

Coupled with the Patriot Octagon Series long-travel sway bars front and rear, you get the benefits of extreme suspension travel while maintaining a confident, driver-inspiring stance in the corners.

The Patriot Chassis platform supports multiple drivetrain configurations. Our architecture is designed so you can start with one powertrain and swap to another without re-engineering the chassis. LS, LT, Cummins — the foundation handles it all.

Patriot Chassis is a small production shop in Ponderay, Idaho with over 40 years of chassis and suspension engineering experience. We specialize in restomod chassis for classic trucks — vehicles from before crumple zones and air bags that deserve a modern foundation. Every frame is built on precision jig tables, every bracket is CNC laser-cut, and every weld is done by hand by our team.

We manufacture a wide variety of DIY and complete components for 47-55 Chevy, 58-61 Apache, 67-72 Chevy/GMC, 73-87 Chevy, K5 Blazer, 67-73 Ford, 73-79 Ford, 65-77 Bronco, 78-96 Bronco, Dodge Power Wagon D-Series, and many more.
